Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective was packaged with the system's initial release. It puts you in the shoes of Sherlock Holmes, the famous fictional character created by Arthur Conan Doyle. A majority of the game features actors acting out scenes that the player watches in order to attempt to solve mysteries. The game includes three cases for you to solve: The Mummy's Curse, The Mystified Murderess, and The Tin Soldier. Using detective skills along with the help of Watson and the Bakerstreet Irregulars you are set to uncover the truth. Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective uses a point-and-click system to move through the game. Simply click on various names or places and a video screen will appear that will show a short clip of Holmes and Watson speaking with a character.
